STYLING YOUR PHOTOSHOOT

Want to take your photos to the next level?

Styling is SO important! To some though, that may seem daunting, so don't stress, I'm here to help ( I also love it).

My client closet is filled with beautiful dresses & tops, in a range of sizes for my ladies! These come in different shades, that I know photograph best. I also have a small range of mens shirts and girls clothing available- but it's important that Mum chooses her outfit first and we base the others around the main colour.

Please msg me or send photos when shopping if you are undecided, I really don't mind and would prefer to help so your outfits blend well. Don't forget the small details- hats, scarves, earrings can all add a different element, layering in Winter is great!

HOT TIPS-

  1. No mens shirts with small lines- this can cause distortion in the images.
  2. No logos please , like NIKE/ BILLABONG etc. They are just distracting.
  3. Plain works well- earthy neutral natural tones are best! Tan, rust, white, navy etc.
  4. Base the outfits around Mums outfit!
  5. Think dresses with movement- long & flowy look the best, same for younger girls- maxis look so cute, and you can get these from Big W and Target often!
  6. You don't need to spend the earth to create a wonderful wardrobe for your shoot.
  7. Pick something that makes you feel great- you need to feel comfortable as well. I often do sitting photos, so keep that in mind.
